Nyx was born into a poor family in a rural area. Because of his unusually attractive appearance, his siblings never liked him and constantly told him that he had been found on the streets. As a child, Nyx accepted their bullying without question, believing it was simply how families treated each other. He genuinely believed that his real parents had abandoned him and felt grateful that his current family had taken him in. He never realized how twisted that belief was. When Nyx was twelve, his family decided they could profit from his appearance and attempted to sell him. Before the deal could be finalized, a dangerous runaway arrived in the village. Blinded by the promise of wealth and power, Nyx's parents agreed to shelter him. Through the runaway, Nyx learned that there was a world far beyond his village. He constantly questioned him, fascinated by his stories and everything he had never known about. Not long after, the people hunting the runaway arrived. Nyx hid inside a closet and watched as his entire family was slaughtered by what appeared to be a young boy. The runaway was killed as well. Nyx fled the village and disappeared into the wilderness, where he survived alone for several years before being discovered by a group of hikers. Nyx was placed into the foster system, but repeatedly ran away from his foster homes. He wanted to see the world for himself—to experience the things he had been denied and live a life that actually belonged to him. At sixteen, Nyx was adopted by a woman who had originally planned to adopt an infant after losing her own child. But when she saw the anger and desire for life in Nyx's eyes, she changed her mind and chose him instead. She tried her best to love him, though she was a first-time mother and far from perfect. Nyx was rebellious and violent toward her at first, but eventually calmed down. He helped around the house and remained distant from her until, at eighteen, he finally accepted her as his mother and called her "Mom." Around the same time, she began seeing another man and eventually had a child with him. Nyx became increasingly bothered by the change. After finally finding someone he could call family, he felt as though that love was being taken away from him again. The man saw Nyx as a threat to their new family and gradually convinced the woman to send him away to college. During a break from college, Nyx decided to return home and visit his mother. The man intercepted his messages, took the family on a trip, and changed the locks under the excuse that there had been thefts in the neighborhood. Nyx arrived at a locked, empty house. When he tried contacting his mother, he discovered that she had deleted him from her contacts. He didn't know the man had done it. Panic and anger took over. He broke into the house and found that his old home had been completely transformed for the "new" family. His room had become the baby's room, and his photographs had been replaced. Nyx destroyed everything until the police arrived. He was arrested and placed on probation. Unable to contact his mother and convinced that she had abandoned him, Nyx became completely lost. He wandered the streets with nowhere to go until he was eventually hit by a truck and died. After entering the Game, Nyx lived recklessly, constantly pushing himself to the edge just to feel alive. He took risks without caring whether he survived, as if trying to prove that there was still something inside him capable of feeling. Eventually, even that stopped working. His fighting style became almost suicidal, yet he developed an equally strong obsession with staying alive. He didn't particularly care for the idea of death, but to him, dying meant giving up—and giving up was against his nature. During one of the games, Nyx met a member of a guild called **Wayfinder**, which escorted players through dangerous games for payment. The member recognized his potential and recruited him. Nyx accepted almost casually, but gradually grew attached to the guild. For the first time in years, he made friends and formed genuine bonds with people he could call partners. That life ended when an important player they were escorting—the daughter of the leader of **Domination**—died during a commission Nyx was not involved in. The leader retaliated by declaring an annihilation order against Wayfinder. Every member was given a bounty. Nyx watched his new family get hunted down one by one. He survived, but the bounty remained on his head. Assassins continued coming for him, and he survived every attempt. With each fight, he grew stronger. Years later, Nyx single-handedly wiped out the upper ranks of Domination. The incident made him infamous throughout the Game. Players began recognizing his name—and the black smoke that constantly surrounded him. Afterward, Nyx founded his own guild, **Eclipse**. Almost nothing is known about it. Its number of members, activities, and even its internal structure remain hidden. Nyx rarely shows his face and almost never speaks publicly. To most players, Nyx is a myth.
A suicidal man with a strong will to live describes Nyx perfectly. He throws himself into danger recklessly, often acting as though his own life means nothing, yet he always finds a way to survive. He doesn't fear death as much as he hates the idea of giving up. Every time he reaches a new limit, he pushes beyond it, and his power grows rapidly as he continuously reaches new heights. The more impossible something seems, the more casually he approaches it. Nyx is naturally detached and doesn't care much about most people. In games, he won't go out of his way to save someone, but he won't kill them without a reason either. Someone living or dying is usually just not his concern. He is quiet, laid-back, and difficult to provoke, often approaching dangerous situations with an almost careless attitude. He rarely explains himself and doesn't feel the need to justify what he does. His childhood left him with a deep fear of abandonment. After being betrayed and losing nearly everyone he considered family, Nyx learned that becoming attached only gives people something to take away from him. Because of this, he keeps everyone at a distance. Even within Eclipse, he maintains a strict leader-to-member relationship rather than allowing himself to become emotionally close to anyone. He may care about his guild, but he refuses to let himself depend on them. Nyx also refuses to ask for help. Even when injured, exhausted, or struggling, his first instinct is to deal with it himself. He would rather suffer quietly than admit that he needs someone. To him, needing someone means giving them the power to leave him behind. He rarely shows what he feels and can come across as cold or indifferent. In reality, he simply doesn't know how to express attachment without feeling vulnerable. He has learned to treat relationships as temporary, so when someone gets close, part of him is already preparing for the moment they leave. He doesn't chase after people when they walk away. He simply lets them go, pretending he never needed them in the first place.

Materialization
produces a unique artificial material in the form of black, intangible smoke. The smoke has no physical weight or sense of touch until it is condensed, at which point it rapidly compacts into an extremely hard, durable solid. The user can shape the material into weapons, tools, armor, or structures as it forms. Limitations: - The material must be condensed before it can physically interact with objects. - The user cannot create existing substances. - The material remains subject to gravity and physical forces.
